A 12-year-old boy has been referred to the police's early action team in relation to incidents of anti-social behaviour.
PC Dave Render also said more children and teenagers will be spoken to in due course over incidents in Town Hall Street, Great Harwood.
It comes as residents have complained about children running riot in the streets at night.
On Thursday one resident reported seeing children throwing eggs at flats in Town Hall Street.
PC Render said: "We have spoken to a 12-year-old youth and he is going to be referred to the early action team who will start working with him. Other youths are going to be spoken to.
"We know residents won't tolerate behaviour like this and neither will the police."
