FOUR days of Hallowe'en-themed events start at Darwen Market today in its latest move to increase footfall.
From 10am to 2pm the shopping hub will host Magic Monday.
Later in the half-term week at the same times, Darwen-based events organiser Crafty Vintage will stage Workshop Wednesday, Theatre Thursday and Freaky Friday.
The final event will include a Freaky Fancy Dress party, with free face painting and a prize for the winner.
Cllr Phil Riley, Blackburn with Darwen Council's regeneration boss, said: "We have had very positive feedback from families and market traders alike following the 'Six weeks of Summer' holiday programme at Darwen Market. We want to build on this success and continue to provide free quality family activities at the fantastic Darwen Market."
Laura Johnson from Crafty Vintage said: "We wanted to continue the important delivery of holiday activity in our home town. "
