A STAFF member at an old people's home has to be rescued from its cellar by the fire and ambulance service this morning.
Emergency crews were called to Beech Grove Residential Care Home in St. Pauls Street in Low Moor, Clitheroe, at 8.30am.
Temporary crew manager Martin Dobson said: "A member of staff had fallen over in the cellar of the premises.
"We were asked to help the ambulance staff bring her up the stairs.
"She had injured her leg in the fall.
"The lady was taken to hospital as a precaution."
