SERVICES: Northern rail is telling customers to check timetables for details of changes to services.
A TREE has blocked a railway line between Blackburn and Burnley.
Train passengers face delays up to 30 minutes travelling on the line between Blackburn and Burnley Central.
Replacement transport has been requested for Blackburn, Hebden Bridge, Colne and Accrington.
Staff have removed the tree but a Northern Rail spokesman said disruption is expected until 6pm.
Customers have been reminded that if their journey is delayed by 30 minutes they are entitled to claim compensation.
