A FIRE broke out at a furniture manufacturer's store this morning.
Six fire engines and crews from across East Lancashire were called to the fire on Newchurch Road, Stacksteads shortly before 11.30am.
The fire started in a spray booth ducting of the premises but crews said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Officers say the fire has been put out but two crews are still in attendance to check the premises is now safe.
A fire service spokesman said: "It has yet to be established how the fire had set alight.
"Fire crews are still there but a number have left since it first started.
"The remaining crews are making sure there are no residual hotspots that can be seen."
