Police at the scene of the serious crash in Park Road, Blackburn
A PEDESTRIAN has been left with serious injuries after being hit by a lorry just outside Blackburn town centre.
Police have cordoned off the scene after the man was hit by a heavy goods vehicle on the A6077 at Grimshaw Park, at around 1.15pm.

Motorists are facing delays in both directions as traffic police examine the scene.
A police spokesman said that the man had been taken to hospital.
