POLICE arrested a drunken female at Asda after staff reported her causing problems at 6.25 am. Blackburn magistrates heard Hannah Kasim had been stumbling round the store with a bottle of vodka in her hand and being abusive to staff. Kasim, 30, of Johnston Street, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly at Asda and a second charge of being drunk and disorderly in Stoneyhurst Road on a separate occasion. She was fined £100 with £30 victim surcharge. Ian Huggan, defending, said Kasim had no convictions against her name until she was 27 years old when she took up with a man who was a drinker. "Drink is an issue," said Mr Huggan. "Se knows she has to sort out her drinking but sadly it isn't alsways that easy." The chairman of the magistrates recommended Kasim to contact Inspire the drink and drug agency. "Your life won't get any better until you decide to put t right," he said.
