Junction 5 of the M65.
MOTORISTS using the M65 have been warned of a slip road closure this weekend.
The exit lane on the westbound carriageway at Junction 5 for Guide, Blackburn and the Grane Road will be shut until 5am on Monday.
The closure is part of a a £350,000 two-part, project to provide safer and more reliable journeys between Junctions 5 and 6.
This weekend's work will add a second lane to the exit sip road along the westbound carriageway at junction 5. Diversions will be in place.
Next weekend work to improve drainage along the westbound carriageway at junction 6 will begin.
The westbound carriageway will be totally closed between 10pm on Friday October 12 and 5am the following Monday.
