A MAN who had been put out of his house by his mum because he was drunk was trying to get back in when police arrived.
Blackburn magistrates heard Aqib Nawaz was abusive towards the officers and when his mum came out he verbally abused her.
Nawaz, 23, of St Marks Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly.
He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge.
Nawaz, who was not represented, said he wanted to apologise to his mum.
