RUSH hour traffic was brought to a stand still on the M65 motorway tonight after a three car pile-up.
Fire crews were called to cut free a driver trapped in one of the vehicles at Lostock Lane, just off junction one of the M65, at Bamber Bridge.
The crash caused tailbacks for traffic travelling in both directions of the motorway. Firefighters were at the scene for around an hour at 4pm yesterday.
The road was closed while a police investigation was undertaken.
