A DRUNKEN woman licking the wall of a former NatWest bank charged at police when they tried to help her.
The disturbance saw traffic disrupted in Bacup town centre on Wednesday afternoon.
PCSO Chris Hamer, who covers the area, tweeted: "Sorry for the traffic disruption in Bacup earlier.
"PCSOs came across a woman in an intoxicated state, licking the wall of NatWest bank.
"Officers tried to check on her welfare when she charged at them and verbally abused members of the public. PCs soon arrested her for D&D (drunk and disorderly).
"When you think you've seen it all."
