A MUSICAL tribute to a 1970s pop group will performed in a town centre venue next month.

A widely acclaimed tribute to Abba will be staged in Blackburn town centre in three weeks.

Abbamania, who have been entertaining audiences with their vocals and musical performance live on stage since 1999, are coming to Blackburn as part of a UK tour to celebrate 40 years of Abba.

The two hour show will feature timeless classics from Waterloo and Mamma Mia to Dancing Queen and Super Trouper.

The longest running Abba tribute concert sold out in UK theatres nationally and in 2002 it played 18 weeks in the Strand Theatre London.

Their latest performance will be held at King George's Hall, on Northgate, from 7pm on October 14. Tickets are priced at £22.50.
