A MAN was headbutted at a train station.
British Transport Police has launched an investigation into an assault which took place at Accrington Station last month.
The assault occurred moments after a train arrived at platform one as a passenger was walking to cross the overbridge.
While on the overbridge, the victim was approached by a man who headbutted him and punched him to the head a number of times.
The victim was left with two black eyes as well as bruising and swelling around his face.
Officers believe the man shown in this CCTV image may have information which could help them investigate.
The incident occurred between 7pm and 7.10pm on August 23.
