FLOOD warnings have been issued near the River Ribble, River Hodder and the River Calder.
Due to heavy showers throughout the night, water levels in the River Calder near Whalley, Padiham, Burnley, Brierfield and Nelson have the danger of rising.
Warnings have also been issued for the River Ribble and River Hodder which passes homes near Clitheroe, Sawley, Slaidburn and Gisburn.
A government flood service spokesman said: "Heavy showers are forecast to continue through the night, becoming more sporadic in nature during the day on Friday.
"River levels are reacting to the rain and may rise at times. Remain safe, monitor your weather conditions and be aware of your surroundings.
"We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated as the situation changes."
