PENDLE'S MP teamed up with a Royal Mail postman on his delivery round.
Andrew Stephenson and postman David Love went round Barnoldswick delivering letters and parcels.
Mr Stephenson said he took part to gain an insight into the challenges faced by postmen and women who deliver mail to around 43,200 households across the borough.
This comes as a yellow weather warning for heavy rain is due across Pendle tomorrow (Thursday) between 4am and 10pm.
He said: "I was delighted to join David on his round.
"I am sure we can all agree that postmen and women do an amazing job delivering thousands of letters and parcels, six days a week, throughout the year in all weathers."
