A CARE home for people with learning disabilities has been rated as good.
When Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspectors made an unannounced visit in August to Heathcotes home, Blackburn, they concluded it was good for its safety, effectiveness, responsiveness and leadership.
Watchdogs said the Florence Street home requires improvement for its care.
The home provides accommodation and personal care for 13 people.
On the day of the inspection, there were 12 people using the service who were living with a learning disability and/or mental health diagnosis.
A CQC report reads: "Throughout the inspection we also observed caring and sensitive
interactions from staff.
"There was a calm atmosphere within the service.
"We observed throughout our inspection, that people's privacy was respected."
