WALLACE and Gromit creator Nick Park is to be the special guest at Clitheroe Grand next month when he will talk about his remarkable career.
The Academy Award winning film director and pioneering animator will be in conversation with Nev Pierce.
Born in Preston, Nick Park will give a fascinating insight into his life and career to date including the stories behind some of his wonderful characters and the painstaking work involved in bringing them to life on the big screen.
He won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film for The Curse of the Were-Rabbit and has three-times picked up an Oscar for Best Animated Short Film for Creature Comforts, The Wrong Trousers and A Close Shave.
He has also directed the movies Chicken Run and most recently the prehistoric comedy Early Man as well as creating the children’s TV favourite Shaun the Sheep.
