A MAN went to his girlfriend's house and kicked in the door after a fall-out over a Facebook photograph.
Blackburn magistrates heard having forced his way into the house Stefan Brown collected his PlayStation and left.
Brown, 26, of Scotland Bank Terrace, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to using violence to secure entry to premises knowing there was someone present who was opposed to that entry.
Richard Prew, defending, said the complainant saw what she thought was a "like" by the defendant of a Facebook photograph of another female.
"She decided that was enough to end the relationship," said Mr Prew.
"There was a text conversation and he decided to go round to discuss the matter in person.
"She locked the door and in a fit of pique he kicked in the door. He accepts that it is for the best if they split up."
He was made subject to a community order for 12 months and a 10-week curfew between 6pm and 6am. He was ordered to pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.
