We have no idea of the date they were captured on camera, or where - could it be Read Hall?
If any readers could fill in the missing blanks, staff at Read Library would love to have the information.
They are building up a photographic archive of life in the village through the decades to create a reference point for future generations.
The customer who donated this photo from their family album had no details, so the library has now turned for help to Lancashire Telegraph readers.
