Tributes have been paid to a Blackpool man who was found dead in undergrowth at the weekend.
Stewart Dewsnap, 46, was found by police beside the A59 near Clitheroe, close to a 60ft bridge.
Mr Dewsnap, who lived in the Whitegate Drive area, spent his career in the newspaper industry.
He had worked for the Citizen's parent company Newsquest in the production departments of the Blackpool Citizen and Lancashire Telegraph.
He also distributed the Citizen in the Stanley Park area of the resort.
Mr Dewsnap was divorced and had a teenage daughter.
Bill Budd, Newsquest's regional pre-press manager, said: "Stewart was a highly respected colleague of the regional production department, we will miss him immensely.
"He worked in excess of 15 years in the newspaper industry and gained a lot of friends during this time. We would like to send our deepest sympathies to his family."
The trunk road between Chatburn and Worston was closed from 11.30am until 3pm on Sunday, while officers removed his body and searched the area.
Police had initially been informed of an abandoned silver Toyota Avensis car, which was the subject of complaints as it had been parked in Downham Road for several days.
Officers who went to check the vehicle, then discovered the body.
A post-mortem examination was carried out this week to determine how, and when, Mr Dewsnap died.
However, police are not treating his death as suspicious.
An inquest will be opened by Blackburn coroner Michael Singleton on Thursday.
