COLNE'S community police team strapped on their walking boots and tackled the Three Peaks to help raise cash for charity.
Bobbies from Colne and West Craven took part in a sponsored 26-mile trek over three of the highest peaks in Yorkshire; Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, in June.
The trek raised a total of £2,400.
Sergeant John Fryer (second right), of Colne police, and Sergeant Andy Cartwright, of West Craven Police, handed cheques for £1,200 each to Derek Edwards from Heart Research UK and Claire Richards from Pendleside Hospice.
Sgt Fryer said: "We are all delighted to have raised such a fantastic amount for two worthy causes.
"I'd like to thank everyone who helped, sponsored and supported the team."
