A MAN was punched in the face multiple times by a group of people.
The 46-year-old man from Burnley was attacked by a group of two men and one woman on Plumbe Street Burnley at around 9pm on Sunday, August 26.
Officers said three people approached a taxi the victim was sat in and asked him to leave the taxi. The victim was then assaulted while in the taxi.
The victim's face was left swelling following the attack.
Police have now launched an appeal for witness in relation to the assault and have requested people contact them.
