FOUR people have appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with offences arising from the mistaken deposit by a bank of £135,000 in an individual's account.
Winston Mark Moorcroft, 38, of Rothesay Road, and David Shaun Moorcroft, 42, of Sandon Street, both Blackburn, are both charged with handling £40,000 stolen from Abbey National.
Amanda Jane Moorcroft, 24, also of Sandon Street, faces seven charges of theft of various sums ranging from £300 to £10,000.
David Utley, 26, of Preston New Road, Blackburn, is charged with theft of £17,000 from the Abbey National.
All four were committed on bail to Preston Crown Court.
