Fire crews were called to Fernhill Drive, Bacup, just before 6pm today to a kitchen fire.
The householder switched on the wrong hob, under a pan with oil in it. The pan set on fire causing smoke damage to the kitchen and the rest of the house. Firefighters were at the house for an hour.
