AN Accrington pub has been given the go ahead to open until 3am at weekends.
In future, The Regency Bar, Church Street, will be able to serve until 3am on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
There were concerns expressed to Hyndburn Council that noise could be an issue for nearby residents but permission was granted and will apply to the newly refurbished beer garden which they hope to be open some time next month.
Licensee Lee Gregson said he was happy with the decision and was looking to the future.
