A PRIMARY school in Darwen has been praised by Ofsted inspectors.
Sudell School was said to provide a good quality of education where morale was high and everyone shared the same vision and commitment to improvement.
The report said teaching and learning at the Sudell Road school were good and some lessons were outstanding.
Teachers were applauded for making lessons stimulating by providing practical tasks and emphasising oral work.
The school's after-school clubs, which include sports, music, drama and creative activities also got a nod of approval.
Pupils' personal development including their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development was said to be outstanding.
Head teacher Laura Pooles said: "We are very proud of this report, which shows that we are a very effective and caring school, where children receive a good education and are able to fulfil their potential."
