A police officer found a man using a golf club to smash the windows of a house, Blackburn magistrates heard.
Anthony Bell shouted to the officer: "I'm not going back to prison because of that bitch" before struggling and eventually breaking free.
Bell, 20, of Devon Road, Blackburn, admitted criminal damage and resisting police. He was bailed pending a pre-sentence report.
Philippa White, prosecuting, said the occupant of the house and his-14-year-old daughter and seven-year-old son, had been in the front room when the first window was smashed.
Andrew Church-Taylor, defending, said the girl had formed an attraction to Bell but he wanted nothing to do with her. He added: "The girl's father seems to have taken this rejection personally and over a period of time has threatened my client and been abusive towards him."
