A FEMALE motorist was taken to hospital after a collision involving three vehicles on the M65 earlier today.
Police say a pick-up truck travelling eastbound near junction four at Darwen crashed into the central reservation just after 8.15am.
Two other cars, a Mercedes and Toyota Corolla, suffered minor damage in the aftermath of the incident, which caused early-morning tailbacks for motorists travelling into Blackburn, Accrington and Burnley.
A Lancashire police spokesman said the female driver, from Colne, complained of back pain as a result of the collision and was taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital for a check-up.
