BURNLEY: Eight fire appliances were called to a factory fire after people were reported inside the two-storey building.
The blaze broke out at Burco Dean Appliances, in Langham Street, at 3.30pm this afternoon.
Six pump engines and two specialist units attended the scene. Breaking in tools were used in order to try and rescue the people inside.
Two stories of the building were ablaze and were still alight at 4.15pm.
