KENDAL'S new Sainsbury's store is set to open its doors on Wednesday September 26.
The Shap Road store has created 350 new full and part-time jobs and includes a petrol station, a cafe and both Argos and Specsavers units within the main shop.
Store manager Stuart Butters said: "We cannot wait to get in to store. Obviously we have been having to train colleagues at stores in Penrith and Morecambe and Lancaster so it will be great to get people near home and start selling our stuff to the community of Kendal."
