TWO new litter bins have been installed on West Craven Drive in Earby.
They have been put in place because of partnership between the town council, local business and volunteers
Cllr Ian Lyons said: I would like to thank the volunteers from the Love Earby litter picking group, who have spent hours with me cleaning up this area and many others like it. I am very grateful to Uniroyal Global, and Wayne Hampshire, who have agreed to pay for the installation costs. It just goes to show, by working together we can make a real difference.”
Chairman of Earby Town Council, Cllr Chris Tennant said: “I am delighted. The Town Council has limited resources and it’s wonderful that local businesses and volunteers are able to get involved and reduce the cost."
