VISITORS to the fourth and final day of Bolton's Food and Drink Festival 2018 are in for a treat as the fantastic line-up of celebrity chefs, cooking demonstrations and street performances continues.

Back for the tenth year is festival favourite James Martin, who will be hosting no less than three 45-minute showcases in the main marquee during the day. The demonstrations promise 'a little added twist' to make them even more special. And visitors will each receive a slice of cake!

The day's line-up also features Bolton Market legend Alain Job, who is serving up a sweetbread treat for spectators in Crompton Place at 12 noon, followed by Bolton-trained chef Michael Harrison, who hails from Lancashire and has more than 20 years' cooking experience.

The inaugural festival cake-off competition will be taking place in the town hall at 12noon, judged by baker Kay Gajra, Greenhalgh's bakery boss David Smart, Aldi logistics director Virgil Simpson and Bolton Council leader Linda Thomas.

Entertainment for families will also continue throughout the course of the day. Children can play in the sandpit or hear from Pharoah III in the Egyptian-themed Market Place.

Alternatively, they can join Deedee and her best friend Tobias the mouse as they help a stranger create the most scrumptious soup of them all — Stone Soup will give their theatre performances in Albert Halls at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.

Award-winning chef Kishnan Kant will also be making the 'Bolti' curry at 11am in Crompton Place.

Meanwhile, the main stage in Le Mans Crescent will play host to a variety of music artists throughout the day, including Chorus Choir and Northern Glory.
