A TODDLER who was knocked down by a motorcyclist remains seriously ill in hospital.
Aysha Rasool, three, is still being treated in Pendlebury Children's Hospital's intensive care unit after suffering head injuries in the colision with a motorcycle in Midgely Street, Colne.
Her family said that she was due to undergo an operation on her leg but remained in a very poorly' condition.
The incident occurred at 8.30pm on Monday when Aysha was going to a park with her sisters Ayzah, six, and Zara, four, under the supervision of her 15-year-old cousin.
She was in collision with a motorcyclist, who failed to stop after the accident.
Her parents, Asif and Rubina, of Lune Street, Colne, have been by her bedside since the incident.
A 17-year-old youth presented himself at Colne police station an hour after the incident. He was arrested and has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
