A CONVICTED sex offender was seen in a school yard in direct contravention of a sexual harm prevention order.

Blackburn magistrates heard Alexander Macura was also failing to comply with the sex offender register requirements by keeping police informed about his whereabouts.

Macura, 64, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with sex offender register requirements by registering either an address or no fixed abode with the police and entering a primary school yard in Barnoldswick on July 16. He was sent in custody to Preston Crown Court to be sentenced on August 20.
