A COUNCILLOR has warned residents concerned about a late music licence for a local pub they have until tomorrow to object.

Dilworth ward's Cllr Ken Hind Dilworth has promised to express their views to a special sub-committee to consider the application by the owners of The Dog Inn in Market Place, Berry Lane, Longridge.

The have applied for a music licence for both inside and outside the pub, six days a week until 1.30m.

Cllr Hind said: "No one wants to spoil others fun but a live music licence six days a week to 1-30 in the morning in a highly residential area disturbing the sleep of adults and children is unsuitable.

"The car parking for such entertainment around the Dog is inadequate

"The sound of music particularly if outside will carry across Longridge in the early hours of the morning.

"This is a matter of urgency as objectors have only until FridayJuly 20 to register their views. "
