SECTIONS of the M65 near Blackburn have been closed due to an ongoing incident.
Lanes near junctions five and four Westbound were closed earlier this evening, casuing heavy traffic and congestion in the area.
The closure is due to emergency bridge repairs caused by an exposed joint.

It is currently unknown when the regular flow of traffic will resume, but reports from the area suggest that the road is still heavily congested.
Though it couldn't be confirmed, it is suspected that this is this same issue that closed the M65 overnight back in May.
