County Councillor Susie Charles, Cabinet Member for Children, Young People and Schools, said: "These groups provide important activities for young people right in the heart of local communities.
"The animal welfare, horse riding sessions and camping equipment will also help people to develop important new skills and to become more physically active.
"We're continuing to work closely with our partners who deliver the Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme.
"Supporting this application means that more of our vulnerable young people are able to take up these opportunities. "
"It's great that young people have had their say on these funding decisions, through local youth councils which have made recommendations to the cabinet as to which projects they think should be funded."
Any groups that are interested in applying for funding should contact their local district youth council.
