BLACKBURN shopping centre The Mall has been evacuated.
Alarms went off at 9.15am today (Monday, June 11).

Staff from the centre and from Blackburn Market poured out onto Church Street.
The alarms stopped at about 9.45am and staff returned to the shopping centre.
Loraine Jones, The Mall's general manager, said: “A planned fire drill took place this morning.
"All procedures were followed and The Mall has now reopened.”
