Clerk Angela Dugdale finishes her last day as Read Post Office switches to a new site.
The office was scheduled to move from 72a Whalley Road to the service station, in Whalley Road, Simonstone, two weeks ago.
However, due to building work, the move was delayed and the office closed on Thursday and will open at its new home, at the garage, on Monday.
Field change adviser Ian Liley said: "The new branch will include an open-plan counter with an improved retail offer, level access, space for a wheelchair, and off-road parking."
