A large piece of stone was thrown at the owner of this black Audi
A DRIVER was left 'extremely shaken up' after a stone was thrown at her car while she was driving.
The Barrowford resident was driving her black Audi down Gisburn Road, Barrowford, when a large piece of stone was hurled towards her windscreen as she approached the pedestrian crossing near the White Bear pub.
The car was damaged 'considerably', officers said.
A police spokesman said: "The female driver was extremely shook up by the incident but luckily she was uninjured. The consequences could have been much worse."
