A COUNCILLOR and Youth MP were taped to a wall for charity.
Cllr Maureen Bateson and Darwen Youth MP Elle Walsh raised more than £200 for children's charity Secret Santa after taking on the charity's duct Tape Challenge.
As part of the challenge, people were asked to donate £2 for a strip of duct tape which was then used to secured them to a wall within Duke Street Children's Service offices on Friday.
The money raised was donated to Lower-Darwen based charity Secret Santa who helped 750 of the borough's under-privileged children to have a better Festive Season last year by providing bags of presents.
It costs £25 for a bag of presents which are delivered in time to ensure the youngsters wake up to presents on Christmas morning.
