FIRE crews have dealt with several incidents over the bank holiday weekend.

In Burnley, two fire engines from the town were called to a kitchen fire in Rosegrove Lane at around 2.45pm yesterday.

Firefighters used two hose reels and a ventilation unit to put out the fire. No injuries were reported.

Meanwhile, fire crews attended a house fire in Ronald Street, Burnley, at about 6pm yesterday.

Two fire engines from Burnley were called to the fire involving the ground floor of the property. They used one hose reel, two breathing apparatus and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported.

And in Great Harwood, a fire broke out in a shed in Alan Ramsbottom Way at around 4.55pm on Saturday. Two fire engines from Hyndburn and Blackburn attended and used two hose reels to put out the fire.

No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
