A MOTORIST was taken to hospital after their car crashed while travelling on a notorious road today.
The crash on the A675 Belmont Road, between Belmont and Abbey Village happened at 7.30am.
The ambulance service received reports the car crashed through a wall before landing on its roof.
Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene.
A woman had managed to get out of the car before fire crews arrived.
A casualty was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital with a shoulder injury.
