TOWN hall worker Hussain Mulla starred on quiz show The Chase – leaving comic host Bradley Walsh in stitches with his gags.

The 27-year-old from Blackburn took part in a recording of the ITV teatime favourite in October.

Hussain initially looked like he was going to struggle to make it to the show finale as 'chaser' The Beast closed in on him.

But he correctly answered a final question about the sci-fi film series Star Trek, then quipping to Bradley that he was trying his best to 'kling on'.

Bradley told Hussain he should go into stand-up comedy and added that he would always be remembered on the show.

But the rest of Hussain's team will be remembered for all the wrong reasons as they threw away a chance to go home with the cash prize.

They only managed 11 correct answers in the final round leaving the chaser with an easy target to beat.

The four contestants left the show empty handed.
