A 31 year old man died after falling down the stairs of his home, an inquest was told.
Coroner Derek Baker said that Mr Alan Duckworth, of Whalley New Road, Blackburn, was seen by another occupant of the flats where he lived, crawling up the stairs after he had fallen back, hitting his head.
An ambulance was called on Sunday but Mr Duckworth had died at the scene, the inquest was told.
A post mortem examination has been performed but further tests are due to take place.
The inquest was adjourned until October.
