SIXTEEN new jobs have been created at Sainsbury's in Darwen on the back of a multi-million-pound refurbishment.
An investment of £2million has been pumped into the Hardman Way store which is relaunching tomorrow.
The store will comprise a new clothing department, a new bakery area, a new entertainments section including computer consoles and DVDs, an electrical goods department and an improved car park.
Store manager Philip Thompson said: "The store now offers a fantastic range of products and services so I'm confident that the new look will exceed customer expectations."
Scouts from Highfield have been given a donation of £200 and will be packing bags for the day.
