TWO people have pleaded not guilty to charges of assaulting a police officer following an incident on August 4.
Simon Fishwick, 31, of Lancaster Drive, Padiham, and Kelly Greenwood, 21, also of Lancaster Drive, entered the pleas at Burnley Magistrates' Court.
Fishwick also pleaded not guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour towards a police officer, as did 38-year-old Andrew Livesey, of Lindisfarne Close, Burnley.
All three were released on conditional bail and will appear before magistrates at Burnley on October 15 for trial.
