AN elderly woman has died after collapsing at a railway station.
The woman in her 70s collapsed and became unconscious at Blackburn railway station at about 2.50pm on April 6.
Several police and ambulance crews were called to the scene and she was taken by ambulance to Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital.
But a British Transport Police spokesman confirmed she later died the same day in hospital.
He said the death was 'non-suspicious.'
An ambulance service spokeswoman said: "We received reports of a woman in her 70s unconscious at Blackburn railway station
"She was taken by ambulance to Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital."
