A BOGUS bride has been jailed for her part in an East Lancashire-based fake wedding scam.
Sonal Soyantar, 35, of Gregson Field, Bolton, admitted she stood as a fake bride in three separate wedding ceremonies performed at Blackburn Register Office.
At Preston Crown Court today Judge Anthony Russell QC sentenced the serial bigamist to 16 months imprisonment.
The Recorder told Soyantar she would now be facing deportation.
