I HAVE lots of time for our bin men, out in all winds and weathers, playing ‘catch-up’ when things get behind but when following the lorries, I see loads of litter blowing off of the vehicle.
The design of the vehicle does not help I suppose and the operatives cannot make sure that all collectables are safely contained within the vehicle at all times.
It doesn't seem right that councils tell us to recycle and not to drop litter when their own bin wagons are dropping rubbish all over our streets.
